Pat Davidson has exhibited in over 90 juried exhibitions and was the
featured artist in over 30 solo shows since becoming a Florida resident in
1973. She was born and educated in New Jersey but continued studies in
watercolor with national and international instructors through Leech
Studio Workshops and Art Center Sarasota Workshops in Sarasota, Florida.
Eventually, Pat conducted workshops for 10 years at various art centers
and managed a Main Street gallery in Sarasota. Several paintings have been
on loan to the U.S.State Department and were exhibited in U.S. Embassies
in Chile, Maylaysia and Switzerland. Travels to Canada, Mexico, England,
Scotland and Italy inspired many watercolor paintings depicting each
country’s colorful subjects with passion and finesse.
 Recently
Pat has been interested in painting reflections which involve
diverse subject matter. Sometimes the subject will be water
reflections; other times an antique or classy sports car may
catch her eye.
Pat has served as exhibition juror several times, conducted demonstrations
over 30 times in S.W. Florida cities and has paintings in private and
corporate collections throughout the world. She has served on many art
organization’s board of directors including: Friends of the Arts and
Sciences, Art Center Sarasota, Suncoast Watercolor Society, Florida
Watercolor Society and the National League of American Penwomen.
